Alturiak 16

Alturiak 16, 1370:
    High = -15, Low = -30
    Light precipitation (1" snow) starting @ 6:50am
    Calm.
    Overcast.

    Staric spends the day at the Vault of the Sages copying
    Blindness, Strength, Charm Person and Catapult

    Ag spends day learning Cat's Grace.

    Tristan (with Darius's assistance) draws the King of Swords, Justice,
    or Fortitude from the Deck of Wondrous Transformations.  He
    chooses Fortitude as his actual draw, giving him a +2 saving throw
    bonus, larger hit dice and the ability to fight two-handed, but
    also four disadvantages:
        Tongue-tied
        Compulsive Honesty
        Deep Sleeper
        Klutzy

    Around midnight, one of the Wyvern Watches surrounding
    Honey was tripped by some invisible, gaseous creature, which it
    successfully paralyzed.  The party confirmed (in order) that it
    was Neutral, that it was there, that it was paralyzed, and that it
    wasn't undead.  Then they attacked it.

    During the attack, Darius used ESP to learn that it was pissed off
    about being attacked, that it was here for the puppy and that it
    didn't think in any language that Darius knew.  The party killed
    it just before it recovered from the paralysis (kind of, there was
    no body afterwards).
        1000xp to Ag, Darius, Dexter, Henkles, Stalker, Steve and
            Tristan for killing some helpless thing
