Flamerule 16

Flamerule 16, 1369: (half moon, waning)

    Darius casts ESP on the three "books" and detects only hunger and
    a little malevolence.  Stewart casts Know Alignment on two of them
    and learns that they are Neutral.
    
    The party sets out for Mt. Silvermane and spends the day travelling
    south along the road, two of the parties horses are hitched to the
    cart. 
    
    On first watch that night (10:42pm), a Sword Spider attacks the Cave
    Bear, nearly killing it in a single attack, then attacks Dexter as
    well. The party manages to kill it and save the bear. (2000xp)
   
    Later that same night (3:00am), a pack of rats try to get into the
    turkey chow but are killed by the party. (189xp)
