    only know they are seen there sometimes and they don't like orcs.

    Give subchief plate armor to take them to chief.

    Give chief plate armor, light crossbow (magic), 2 hand axes, 5
    pearls (Darius).  Chief insists on knowing reason for talking to
    high priest.  Then laughs and brings them to HP himself so he can
    hear this.

    Meet w/HP in his private chambers.  Explain situation to him.
    Offer Con. Light beads to replace apparatus that uses gate
    to generate light.  HP agrees to let them go through if they bring
    two of his agents and bring back 100lbs. salt, 50 gallons vinegar,
    and a "gift suitable to someone of his station".  An agreement
    having been reached, the chief and HP agree that a treaty/contract
    ceremony is called for, which is basically a feast and a battle
    (fists only) between the two groups champions.
