Kythorn 30

Kythorn 30, 1369:

    With much crossing of fingers all around, Darius creates two magical
    copies of the Song of the North.
    
    Later that day, as Darius, Steve and Elizabeth Rose are on their
    way to the library, they are accosted by the the seedy man and
    several large thugs.  The party manages to chase him off with the
    threat of attracting attention. (300xp to those three)
    
    Dario arrives at the Lingering Song that night and buys a copy of
    the Song document for 500gp and access to the records of the
    Heralds.  The party waits for Bruce to show up, but are attracted to
    the sounds of combat coming from outside. 
    
    They go outside to find a fight between two warriors apparently
    defending Bruce and four warriors apparently fighting for the seedy
    guy.  The party intervenes with sleep spells and such and the seedy
    guy's group is handed over to the guards.  Bruce joins the party
    inside. (1800xp)
    
    Bruce and the party bargain a little and the original document is
    finally sold to him for 3000gp, a wagonload of turkeys and future
    considerations in dealing with the Ruby Star Alliance.
