    Overcast.

    The party goes through the elder gate to the location
    Narrenærgar indicated as being 20 miles NW of Westendt.
    This took them to a room flooded with frigid water to about two
    feet height.  A short passage led to an illusionary wall with
    rocks tumbling in from a narrow canyon outside.

    Outside in the canyon, the party was able to surreptitiously
    observe a battle between two groups of orcs.  The losers passed by
    the party without detecting them in their retreat.
