Ches 22

Ches 22, 1370:

    Wind gusting to 30 mph from the sea.
    Overcast.

    The party hauled Deringa back to Fair Winds for R&R in the
    morning.  When they arrived, Gulkker reported that the first mate
    of the Star Chaser had arrived at Fair Winds shortly after dark to
    meet with Captain Maanamere and had waited on the porch most of
    the night.

    Gulkker also reported that household expenses had been building
    up.  Alril & Kades were due 124gp each for back wages from Hammer
    20 to present.  It had been 4 months since the party last gave him
    any money toward household expenses and he needed 8000gp to cover
    outstanding bills for upkeep on the building, supplies,
    etc. including wages for himself and Mrs. A. (full details of
    these expenses can be found in the 2nd Ed. DMG on Table 22).

    Henkles did an inventory of party treasure and found 340.81gp
    worth of cash and 6661gp worth of gems, plus a considerable pile
    of nonmagical goods.  The party began trekking around town to sell
    the nonmagical goods and getting independant appraisals for the
    Wind Chimes.  Darius stayed behind to start identifying the
    unidentified magic items.  Steve went to the Bard's College to try
    to research the Shameful Tome of Dishonarable Attacks.

    Darius casts Identify (at 7th level, effective level 10):
        - long sword from Silent Travelers is Long Sword, +1,
          +2 vs Lawful targets (3 rolls)
        - darts from Netherese Mage are Darts of Human Slaying
          (as the arrows, 1 roll since they all look identical)
            carried by Henkles for now
        - composite short bow from Silent Travelers is just a
          Composite short bow, +1 (2 rolls)
        - ring from Silent Travelers is Ring of Protection, +1,
          +3 vs. Cold/Ice-Based Attacks (3 rolls)
        - ring from Netherese mage is Ring of Warmth

    Darius designated to carry Wand of Lightning Fan from Westendt.

    Denyae began training to 6th level Fighter expecting to be done on
    Tarsakh 1st (although she actually finished on Ches 30th).
