Flamerule 3

Flamerule 3, 1369:

    Henkles finishes training and begins studying the the obscure
    martial art of Fugfur Fu - fighting with a smelly cat on ones
    head.  He also begins browsing the weapon shops of Silverymoon in
    search of unusual weapons and develops broadsword proficiency.

    That night, two thieves break into Elizabeth's room, incapacitate
    Elizabeth Rose and Frik, and attempt to bundle Elizabeth Rose up
    and carry her out the window.  Stewart and Steve are sharing a room
    with a Wyvern Watch spell and stay put, the rest of the party
    rushes in to help.  They (mostly Henkles and Maanamere) manage to
    kill one thief in the room and the other drops Buffy and attempts
    to escape out the window.  Several party members pursued him into
    the alley and eventually captured him and dragged him back into the
    inn.  During the fight, Maanamere used Binky in his secondary hand
    and discovered that in addition to glowing faintly yellow in a
    fight, it also reduced his primary weapons speed by four!
    
    The guard showed up shortly thereafter and questioned everybody
    thoroughly.  When they discovered that Frik was a Kobold, they took
    everyone downtown for further questioning.  Steve and Stewart
    managed to pretend innocence and stay at the Inn, alone and
    unprotected. The party was eventually declared mostly harmless and
    let go, sans Frik, who was eventually released to custody of The
    House Invincible the next evening.  (1000xp to all but Dexter)
