AFAL discussed Theo's and my findings about the books. It was decided to not try out the teleportals immediately. Darius pointed out that the teleportal near Silverymoon is probably in the cave where we found the cache of treasure left by the temple of Shar (that we learned about from the murals in the Vanishing Tower.) It was decided that since we hadn't yet gone and found the cache in Undermountain, we would do this the next day.

We paid Dusty 10gp. to see if he could find out anything about a ship named "The Star Chaser." He said that it might take a few days. Theo and I spent time checking out the used book dealers to see if we could find any other Netherese texts, but we found none. I then purchased snow skis, mittens, and other wilderness gear, presuming that we will soon head to Silverymoon. Darius finished up his training this day.

At dinner, Gulkker reported the results of his inquiries: the tapestry was sold to Dareth Weaveseller, a local rug merchant, who sold it the next day to Allet Tzuntzin of the Misty Beard Tavern. That night, we were awakened by Denyae's screams. When we responded to them, she claimed that Henkles was trying to get her to go outside with him. When he was asked to explain his actions, he said that he was told by his friend Arcturagana to put the ship in the bottle model in Maanamere's room and to get Denyae to go outside with him to do sword practice. He explained that while he was patrolling the hall, he felt a tapping on his shoulder, and when he turned around, he saw that one of the window's shutters had sprung open and Arcturagana was floating outside holding a sign that said "Gotcha." He then went downstairs where she handed the ship model to him. Dexter closed the shutters without looking out and used his Detect Undead ability to find that there was undead on the Widow's Walk of Fairwinds. Ursula used her Transfer Charm to take control of Henkles back from Arcturagana. Maanamere was hiding in his bed in his room and the model ship was discovered to be under his bed. Theo cast Summon Monster and summoned seven unidentifiable creatures to the Widow's Walk. She dealt with them quickly, however. The model ship was moved from Maanamere's room to the Library. No further excitement occurred.
