Kythorn 15

Kythorn 15, 1369: (half moon, waning)

    The party continues their ascent of the mountain and encounters 2
    salamanders. They chase 1 off, and kill the other (2000xp). Henkles
    keeps the salamander's spear.
    
    After travelling for most of the day, the party arrives at the
    location indicated on the hill giant's map.  The only three
    features in the are are a small stand of trees, a (possible) cairn
    and a thin (3' wide) crevasse with a wooden chest lodged in it
    about 25' down.  The party sends Stewart investigating and he is
    attacked by several wererat pixies from a cave in the side of the
    crevasse.  He fends them off and collects the silver pieces and
    silver dagger that have fallen from a hole gnawed in the bottom of
    the chest.  (2800xp, half to stewart, 171sp, 15gp silver dagger)
