Kythorn 27

Kythorn 27, 1369:

    A seedy looking character has "a little talk" with Steve about how
    he shouldn't be making up verses to famous songs and how it might
    be a "bad idea".  After he left the inn, Dexter, Dexter's dog,
    Stewart and Hahrvee followed him unobtrusively (relatively).  He
    joined two other men (all aparently armed with swords and wearing
    leather armor under their tunics) and headed down back roads for
    the docs.  After a few blocks they turned down an alley.  Dexter,
    Stewart and the dog turned back, but Hahrvee snuck down the alley
    using his remarkable talent for concealment.  He discovered an
    ambush, consisting of the three men they were following and two
    more men, both in scale mail.  He snuck out undetected.
        250 XP to Steve for stirring up this much trouble with just a
            song.
        100 XP each to Dexter, Stewart and Hahrvee for backing off right
            before they got into real trouble.
     
    Devlin casts Identify and examines the wind chimes.  He learns
    that they only function at dusk and only when moved by natural
    wind, before he fails a roll.  He then learns that Urgoth, Belt
    Dagger of Doom will say "DOOM!" when it hits, so loud that it will
    stun those nearby.

    Students of Miresk's School of Thaumaturgy magically color the
    Moonbridge in their school colors, green and white, around 11am.
    By mid-afternoon the students of Arken's Invocatorium retaliate by
    turning the River Rauvin yellow and red, the colors of their
    school, within the city's borders.  However, a decisive victory is
    achieved less than an hour later, when the students of The Lady's
    College turn the sky over Silverymoon silver with blue clouds in
    honor of the Lady and Her school.  At dusk, Aulustriel flies over
    the city and restores everything to "normal".
