Marpenoth 8, 1369:

    In the afternoon, Gulkker hands Maanamere a note which was
    delivered for him by courier.  The note is printed on parchement
    that has been dyed pink, and has been sealed with red wax
    impressed with what looks like puckered human lips.  No one but
    Maanamere is present when he gets the note.  He gets Mrs. A. to
    read it for him (she skips some "personal" bits).  It's from Mika,
    and he sends a reply with Mrs. A.'s help.
