The party heads into the woods to the ironwood logging site. As
the approach they see an overturned wagon (which they check out)
but no immediate signs of trolls. They arrive in a clearing made
by woodsman that was used as their camp and which was the site of
the troll attack. Still no sign of trolls. They begin to spread
out to search the area when Dexter becomes aware of a large
invisible creature in their midst. When he tries to signal the
party, it whistles loudly and invisible trolls rush them from all
    sides.

The fight that ensues is chaotic and close, with many party
members losing more than half their hit points. However they got
through it with no one dropping below zero through heavy use of
fire spells, some very effective use of a Potion of Fire Breathing
by Maanamere and a finishing blast with the staff of phantasmal
    fireballs from Steve.
28000xp to Darius, Denyae, Dexter, Henkles, Maanamere, Steve,
and Tristan for 12 trolls and a greenhag

Once she was dead, the greenhag who had been leading the trolls
(and had been the invisible troll near Dexter) reverted to her
original form. The party cut off her head, then searched her body
while burning the trolls. They recovered a magic ring and a
    purse containing:
      - 9 Gems
      - 1 magic potion
      - a tiny, hyperrealistic, ebony carving of a raven, which did
        not radiate magic

After that, the party hastilly returned to the Star Chaser,
    arriving at dusk, to heal,

The party set a gargoyle flying about to watch the ship. It got
noticed and attracted the watch, who came and questioned the
captain. Maanamere brushed it off as an illusion (it had been
dismissed in mid air while the watch was looking at it). The
party also pointed out a suspicious hooded stranger who was
watching the ship from a warehouse doorway just out of Dexter's
Detect Undead range. They went and talked to him and then shouted
back to the ship that he works for the warehouse before going
    away.

The stranger stayed in the doorway all night and left just before
    dawn.
