Nightal 19, 1369 Year of the Gauntlet Nightal 21, 1369

Nightal 20, 1369: (new moon)
    High = 30, Low = 15 (H from FJO)
    No precipitation
Wind gusting to 39 mph from the prevailing direction.
    Cloudy.

The next morning, the party arranged for Gulkker to give the
signal that the red-eyed woman from the previous morning had told
him to give when the party was out. When she arrived in the
house, Stalker backstabbed her and the party managed to render her
unconscious. They began searching her body, but were attacked by
her pet rat, which they also dealt with. After that they found
her platinum necklace with a fanged skull pendant, some
    custom-fitted fake fangs, 6 darts, 23cp, 17gp, 4 Toals, 6 Harbor
Moons, 2 small serpentines, a knife, a potion of some sort, and a
small laquered wooden box with velvet-lined padding on the inside
to protect a small corked vial filled with some magical liquid and
    an eyedropper.
480xp to whole party for a woman and a rat

Dexter used some goodberries to revive her, after which Ursula
gave her a Kiss of Slavery. When the party recovered from
watching that they asked the woman, whose name was Elsibet, about
her magic items and who she was.

Elsibet identified the potion as Gaseous Form and the smaller
bottle as Eyedrops of the Enchantress, which she explained as
    follows:
When these drops are in effect, the user gets a +4 to
saves vs enchantment/charm magic and a +4 to saves vs
gaze-based or affecting magics. The two bonuses combine,
so the users save vs. blindness or the charm gaze of a
vampire, for examples, would be at +8. Also the user
gains a gaze attack. If the user spends a round
concentrating on the eyes of an opponent and manages to
catch their eye, the opponent must save vs. spells at -3
or be stunned for 2d3 rounds. During that time, the
victim will be at -6 to save vs. enchantment/charm spells
or other mind-affecting magic (as if at WIS 1). The user
also gains the ability to detect if any enchantment/charm
spell she cast was successful, so long as she can look
        into the targets eyes.

Elsibet explained that she was a vampire worshipper attempting to
become a vampire on her own terms (no lord), to which end she was
hoping to kidnap Denyae as a bargaining chip.

Cassie copied hypnotism into the party spell books.

Not knowing what else to do, the party brought Elsibet to Lin and
left her in his care. On the way back, they got the saphires from
Arcturagana's lair appraised at 2500gp each. They also
determined that Elsibet's necklace was worth 25gp if melted down
for the platinum or 1000gp if the right buyer could be found.

As a precaution against vampire charm attacks, the party covered
all of the windows in Fair Winds and asked Stalker to trap them.
    He commences doing this.

That night, Maanamere awoke to the sound of someone knocking on
his window. It was Arcturagana and she tried to engage Maanamere
in conversation. Maanamere yelled for everyone else, which upset
her. Narthan used two drops from the Eyedrops of the Enchantress
and looked out. Arcturagana went away for a while and then
returned, but the party discouraged her again and she dissapeared
    in a cloud of gas.
