Party Treasure

The Party Treasure is divided between a bank account creayted at First International Bank of Waterdeep on Ches 23rd in the the Year of the Tankard and that which is usually stored on their wagon or at Fair Winds, along with those things that are considered "supplies" and not treasure. Currently, the supplies designated as party treasure on the wagon are:

The party bank account holds 14,817gp as of Tarsakh 5, 1370.

The wagon is currently being kept in the stable/carraige house of Fair Winds, the charming seaside villa which the party is leasing. Many other party items are also stored at Fair Winds, mostly in the Library.

Most actual treasure is stored either in a large, iron-bound chest, which the party kept from some adventure, which is in turn stored in the Library, or the Strongbox, all described below.

The Chest

The chest is used for those items which will not fit in the Strongbox. It is closed with a large padlock, the key to which is kept in the Strongbox. It is currently being kept in a corner of the Library. The party has stated their intent to have Stewart create some noisemaking traps to protect the chest (at party expense), but as of Uktar 13, 1369, that hadn't happened.

As of Nightal 12, it contains the following party treasure:

It also contains 2000gp belonging to Cassie; apparently because it wouldn't all fit under her mattress.

The Strongbox

The Strongbox is almost a piece of treasure itself. It is a plain steel box, 24x16x1 inches, with a simple latch. It sits in a steel frame which is attached to the underside of the wagon, near the center. The box and frame are painted to prevent rust and blend in with the wagon. The frame is built as a single unit, so removing it from the wagon (involves destroying wagon) would not make it easier to remove the box. The frame is held shut with a combination lock of the highest quality Darius could afford, consisting of four seperate wheels marked with 20 symbols each (out of defference to the illiterate members of the party). Currently, only Darius and Stewart, who paid for the box, know the combination. As of Tarsakh 12, it contains the following party items:

Fair Winds

Facing the high sea wall across the Cliffride in Waterdeep's Castle Ward stands Fair Winds, the last of four old stone house built by noble families of Waterdeep. The other three have been converted to the New Olamn Bards College. While all four were rental properties, Volo wrote the following about them in his Guide to Waterdeep:
These grand stone houses were built long ago by various noble families in this exclusive and readily defensible enclave. They soon fell out of favor. Lashed by the full fury of the sea storms, they are damp all year round and a nightmare of slick ice everywhere outside and deathly chill inside during winter. ... If you're wealthy enough and don't mind fighting off the thieves who'll inevitably come to investigate anyone rich enough to stay here, these can be pleasant places indeed for a visitor to Waterdeep to stay for a month or more during a warm summer. Otherwise, be glad your bones sleep somewhere more dry.
On Eleint 21st AFAL began renting Fair Winds for 50gp/month. On Eleint 25th the party finished negotiations to obtain a 3-year lease. The rental price is 384gp annually, with the second year's payment due on Marpenoth 21, 1370. Since that time, the party has begun investing considerable funds in the repair of the roof a general weatherproofing of the building. This work is being overseen by Gulkker (see below).

Servants: The party has several servants working for them at Fair Winds. In addition to various carpenters, stonemasons and others hired by Gulkker for specific jobs, the party has the following permanent staff:

Grounds: The grounds at Fair Winds are fairly extensive for a city home. They are bordered on the west by a low (3') flat stone wall that seperates them from the Cliffride (road), on the south by a fence marking the start of the New Olamn grounds and on the northeast by the spine of Mount Waterdeep. There are five buildings on the grounds, the main house, the carriage house, which stands to the north of the main house, a two-room outhouse that is moved around the back yard at monthly intervals, a gardenning/tool shed which leans against Mount Waterdeep next to a small garden maintained by the staff, and a wood shed to the other side of the gardenning shed. Rarchnarorg, with Gulkker's tentative approval, has begun digging an extension to the garden into the spine of Mount Waterdeep, where he will have more space to grow some of the spice-fungi he likes to cook with.

The front yard is extensive enough to accomodate a luau. The back yard is large enough to allow fighter practice and a small archery range between the main house and the south fence (pointing at Mount Waterdeep). Low bushes surround most of the main hose and carriage house walls.

Main House: The following details have been established about the main house:

The Library

One of the rooms in Fair Winds is a small library, with a large wooden desk, a chair, a sofa, two windows, some wall mounts and a simple chandelier for candles, and shelf space for about 760 books (average width one inch). When the party moved in, the shelves were mostly bare, but did contain about 60 mundane volumes, which the GM will detail if they ever matter. Since then, the party has dumped the Chest in the corner and added the following volumes:

The Wine Cellar

The wine cellar is a single room reached by a short staircase from the main basement. It is seven feet below the basement floor level and has a ceiling height of only 6 feet, as it was dug out between a flat layer of bedrock and a large flat rock which acts as the ceiling of the wine cellar and the base for the floor of part of the main house. The wine cellar is 11.5' wide by 19' long, with the stairway at one end. A forgotten secret door in the far wall is blocked by a wine rack and has not been discovered by the party yet.

The party has started using their wine cellar. It currently contains the following:

The Key Ring

The party has accumulated a large number of keys in their travels. Although the odds of successfully finding the matching lock to most of them are slim at best, they would be zero if the keys were locked away somewhere. So although the ring is stored in the Strongbox when the party is at leisure, it is always carried by <TBD, Darius for now> when they are adventuring. The current contents of the key ring are:

Undivided/Unresolved Loot

As of Nightal 23, in addition to the items listed above or below, the following items haven't actually been discussed by the party, so they are really undivided loot, as opposed to official party treasure. The current location of each item is noted with the item.

The following items were added to the undivided collection on Tarsakh 2nd. This is not meant to imply that nothing was added to the pile between the two dates:

They are also being accompanied by the following new friends:

Debts

In Use

The party owns the following magic items which are being used/carried by party members:
